It may not seem like it, but today was freezing. My fingers literally were burning red from the cold. I am thankful, however, because we didn’t see any blizzard-like activity in the area. Because it’s been so cold and yucky out; I couldn’t help but think of my time in Peru.
I spent the majority of my time helping those in need and after my missionary work was complete, I was able to walk the markets and purchase a lot of indigenous items, like this top.
I wore it today, not only because I was thinking of the people of Iquitos, but because I missed the entire atmosphere of my visit there.
Obviously the fringe jacket had to make an appearance and I decided to go all black to showcase the top.
