Winter break has been good to me. I’ve been able to spend time with family and Micah without watching the clock. However, I know work will start back up on Thursday, and for once I’m ready for it. It’s been a long break and at this point I’m ready to be back in motion. Being lazy and unproductive can be nice, but only to a certain point, needless to say it’s time to grind some gears. I’m excited to see what 2017 has in store for me (work wise) and how the second semester will play out for my students.
In the meantime, I’m finding joy in the little things, like parading around town. The weather was super nice today, unusually for January and winter, but I’ll take it. I was able to wear just a light sweater. I got this lovely and long sweater from my trip to Norway almost three years ago, goodness time flies. I paired the deep blue sweater with light colors hues just so the sweater would stand out. The boots are hard to wear around for such a long time, so it’s nice to live them at a slow pace.
