Health Week Day 1: Get Gym

In the spirit of getting my butt in gear, I’ve decided to share with you all what I’ve up too in the health department.

So I consider myself to be pretty healthy and for the most part active. I love to run. I love fruit smoothies. However, I also love to sleep, to eat popcorn, and to simply do nothing.

It’s my pleasure to do nothing. I’m quiet good at it.

However, from time to time, I do get my butt in the gym. As of late, I’ve been failing in this department. Last year during this time I was running a total of three miles a day. This year, ha! I’m lucky I can run 0.5. Despite my lack of effort, I’m getting back at it. I’m proud to say I’ve been consistently hitting the ole treadmill for three weeks straight! Yippee. Here are the results. A high-five would be greatly appreciated.

Aside from running and squatting like crazy, I love to do ab workouts. I’m quick to progress and I can almost instantly see my abs forming. However, I know that this takes a lot of time and effort, again  on most days I struggle to find motivation. However after three weeks; it’s  nice to see your hard work pay off.

After every workout, I drink myself a “green machine” drink. It’s yummy! It’s your typical drink that contains spinach, pineapple, cucumber, celery, and lime. Now I know that the blueberries aren’t green, but since they are an excellent source of fiber, it’s always a good idea to add it in for fun.
