Oh you know, it’s just another typically windy day in good ole Dodge City. The wild west. I suppose I should be used it; I have lived here for more than 25-years. Honestly, one just can’t get used to it because it’s such a frustration.
And because sometimes I ignore how the universe aligns, I decided to wear a skirt on this wonderfully “wind” blowing day. I never fail at getting things right. Mind you; I look great at failing. Ha.
Anyway let’s get to those important pieces from today’s look that just can’t be overlooked. First of all this beautiful shirt from Zara. I got it while in San Francisco last year. It’s so pretty. It’s simple, but the sleeve-detail is unique and chic.
I chose to showcase this top with a simple-jean skirt and for a splash of color I wore a red bandana as a choker. I felt like that element helped showcase some rocker-chic vibes. Also the open-cut booties from Forever 21 add some much needed edge to the overall feminine look. I’m a huge fan of mixing soft-girly pieces with edge-like ensembles. What do you think? Did I capture what I’m trying to explain? Leave me a comment. Happy Wednesday. As always.
