Just some finds

Most of you may know that I’m not really into makeup, I know nothing about makeup, and I really don’t follow any major makeup artist or brands. I live under a rock okay!

Now, I’m not saying I don’t like makeup because in reality I enjoy wearing it and from time to time I can appreciate a good lipstick. Currently it’s on the things that I’ve been drawn to, finding the perfect stick. More often than not I go for a good neutral or like you’ve seen lately from my OOTD posts, brown is definitely my go-to.

This past weekend I went into Ulta and found two new shades from Urban Decay that caught my eye. So naturally I purchased them. These two shades are Moshpit Cream and Gash Cream, which strangely are more red toned. It’s a change that I’m liking. I’ve worn both shades already and while I look and feel different, I think it’s a good thing.

Also, I’m not very good at doing my eye makeup. I enjoy a simple cat eye and mascara about 100% of the time mainly because it’s short, sweet, and to the point. So again, to step outside my comfort zone and gain some practice I purchased this Morphe Jaclyn Hill Collab palette called “Ring the Alarm.”

I mainly fell in love with this palette because the colors are neutral and seem to fit with my everyday lifestyle. This palette has a combination of matte and shimmer, which I was giddy about.

My favorite shades are Rush, Alert, and Mugshot.

I truly admire how makeup allows everyone to be creative, how it’s a form of expression. I wish that was me, but unfortunately I didn’t get lucky enough to perform the art of makeup. I can only aspire and practice.

Some other cool shades I can’t wait to try on are: (left to right) Bombass, Framed, Boom, and that pretty Mugshot.

These guys are so creamy and wear for a long time.
