Through the woods

I know what you’re thinking, every blogger on the face of the Earth is posting about Halloween and I’m over here giving you all an OOTD look. Truth is, I’ve never been one to “Halloween” per say. I love the holiday. I love the candy. I love the scary movies. What I enjoy the most is just watching everyone dress up and hand out candy.

I’m giddy to share with you all these photos and outfit because it is by far one of my favorites. I enjoyed wearing this outfit and also getting to capture these awesome takes.

The dress was purchased at Francesca’s back in August. I wore it on my first day back to teaching, but I decided to wear it again because it looks to fresh. The delicate details are really pretty. I also love the length of the dress. I topped it with my fuzzy sweater from the Buckle. This sweater is thick and warm, which makes it a great transitional piece.

Something new is this hat from Free the People. I’ve been meaning to buy a hat similar to this one, but just couldn’t find the right fit for so long. When I finally found this one, I instantly took advantage and bought it. I don’t have any regrets.
