Spring break vacation is coming to a close, but we aren’t returning to the traditional way of learning. The classroom I once knew isn’t going to exist this spring and that suddenly fills me some anxiety. I trust our school officials and leaders with the fate of student learning in this new way, but I still can’t help but worry.
So today, after having a tiny panic attack I decided to rock out and shake off the blues. I came back to a time where black and leather boots were my staple. Simpler times. A place where a killer song could push bad feelings out the door. That’s exactly the kind of attitude that I needed.
I rocked out to Carry on Wayward Son played my air guitar and realized that I can’t worry about the things I can’t control. This Kansas ban tee was showcased in its best way with dark wash jeans and leather boots. Also the earrings I got in Madrid helped bring out the blue color pop. The turtle-neck signified that warm weather left us, for now.
As we move forward and chart into the unknown, it’s the small things like music, reading, and positive thinking that will get us through this. Still and always thinking of you.
