Happy 4th of July to all my friends in the United States. This year our nations saw a lot of different emotions, we are still fighting for justice, and situations have caused us to reflect.
I always celebrate this day by being thankful that my parents came to this country for the opportunity to progress and they have. I’m proud of that and everything they sacrificed in order for my brothers and I have to a better life.
That’s what the U.S. gave us. Opportunity! I know not every one has the same chances, but the fact that we can work towards obtaining what we want is something to be thankful for.
I hope that no matter where you are in this country, no matter your feelings, not matter what’s happening you, that you take the time to be thankful.
