Forever 21 skort brings color pop

Last week something horrific happened, I broke my camera. It was a hard thing to overcome because I’ve had my Nikon D7000 for over 9 years now. She’s my first DSLR. She’s the first big purchase after graduating from college. So I felt all kinds of heartache.

Thankfully , we were able to find a camera shop that was able to fix the body. The lens was sent to off and I should have it within the next 4 weeks. For now, I’m back to blogging and capturing the best of my outfits, this time with the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8. It’s not a zoom lens, so shooting is a bit difficult, but the photographs look amazing. I almost forgot how beautiful this lens shoots.

Today’s look features this skort that I purchased I don’t even know when from Forever21. I mainly got this skort because they were all the rage in the early 2000’s. As I’m cleaning out my closet and making room, I decided to wear this item one more time before parting with it. The red color was my favorite.

In addition, the black mules from H&M gives this outfit a chic look and the headband pulls the look overall. It’s outfit likes these that make me want to picnic.
