Dress gives off perfect vibe for blog comeback
It’s been more than 2 weeks since I last posted on the blog and everyday since then, I’ve had a knot in my stomach. When I’m not writing and showcasing what I love it doesn’t sit well with me. Now that I’ve gotten a better idea of what school/work will be like I can prioritize Always Aley. To help with that is this outfit which features this dress from Moxie.
Something else that happened 2 weeks ago was a shopping adventure I took in order to get fall ready. I purchased several items I’m excited to share with you all, including this dress. The dress has all sorts of cool features like the length and volume. It’s also a bright color with a detailed black pattern. Now I know I said I’d stray away from black, but this dress proved it’s a color you can’t say goodbye to.
I bought this dress from Moxie Boutique. One thing I vowed to do was to shop local during this pandemic and I had fun going into area boutiques. It’s important now more than ever to support local business and to keep in mind how they might have been effected during the shut down.
The outfit was paired with slick booties from Steve Madden and my newsboy cap from NastyGal. I played with color and added a hint of orange for my lipstick. It was cool statement addition.
Although it’s going to be difficult and work will trump the consistency of my blogging, I want you to know that I’m committed to posting. Thank you for your support. I appreciate it more than ever! Until next time…
