Blue you

I had such a great weekend. I traveled to Wichita to hang out with my little soccer sister from college ball. It’s so important for me to keep in contact with her, and when I can, I like to spend time with her. We shared our love for the game during a FC Wichita soccer match and after we club hopped the downtown area. It was fun to get away, if for only for a day.

Today, I spent the major of my time napping, relaxing, but also helping my parents run some errands. It’s been life lately. Next week I will start to prepare for my mission trip to Mexico with Micah. I hope to be able to share with you all my travel advice along with what I’m wearing and how preparing for this trip. There’s so much to do in so little time.

Since the majority of the day was spent running from indoors to outdoors I wore this very pretty blue top from the Buckle. I bought it last year during our rodeo day festival, but in reality it screams delicate and fine. I love the “V” detail and the lace. In addition the color is the perfect shade of blue.

I hope everyone’s Monday was filled with many accomplishments. Thinking of you, as always.

Stripped

Happy Wednesday.

My brother graduated from Newman University this past weekend. I was thrilled to see my parents have both a twinkle in their eyes and prideful smiles. For them, Javier graduating marks three-out-of-three children, all done with college. They can unbutton their jeans. Ha! It was a happy time. It was a warm time.

Spring or warmer weather is finally here, which thrills me even more. This is giving me an excuse to wear this romper from Target. The fabric is soft and relaxed for a comfortable wear. I enjoyed wearing it because I could finally let the legs roam the Earth. Currently they need all the sun exposure they can get. Ignore the terrible tan lines. I’ll fix them up.

T-minus 7 days until school is officially over! There will more blogging to come. Hang tight.

P.S. The boyfriend took these pictures. I’m so thankful he was willing. As always.

With blue

This is yet another old outfit from some file photos that appeared they were lost. I’m glad I’m now finding them because it makes me feel productive when it comes to blogging. We both know I haven’t been very good at keeping everyone updated. I’m trying. Just give me a break.

These photos take me back to the day I purchased this top from JCPenney. I usually buy items like these because they can work in so many settings from work to date nights. It’s timeless pieces like these that really make me fall in love with clothing each and every day. Another reason why I enjoy this top so much is because of the vibrant blue and how well it flows even during windy days. The moment I wore it to school, my students gave me so many compliments. When that happens, I repeat the top, so that’s why I wore it around town.

It’s a gloomy day, but that’s not keeping me from getting things accomplished. As always.

Heart on that sleeve

4

I’m posting a little later today because it’s so gorgeous out. We basically hit the 70s. It was so usually scary.

It was the perfect opportunity to show off one of my recent purchases from Zara! I had heard of Zara in the past, but hadn’t gotten the chance to purchase anything. However, I’m in the process of sort of revamping my closet so I felt like the time was right to peek. The online store is to die for. I purchased four articles of clothing and a pair of shoes. But, if I could, I could have easily cleared the bank. I will later.

Right now, let’s marvel at this top! OOhhh Aaahh. It feels so great and it look even better. I absolutely love the detail in the sleeve with the ruffle. It’s so pre-spring. With this top, I paired with liked colors. I plan on wearing this top more often then not, so beware, it will make a repeat. As always.

My rainy days

Image

ImageWe have had such a lovely summer. It hasn’t been as hot. Today, we were blessed with some nice-mild-showers. It truly made the day cool. I wore one of my favorite sandals from justfab.com. I loved wearing them today because my toe nails were just re-painted and the bright blue peeks out. I also re-painted my nails in Minty Sobert from Sally Hansen. The color looked really neat next to the dewy tree bark.

Sorry I’ve been missing. Work has been keeping my attention again. Did I tell you all I’m getting my masters degree? Yea, I’m one even busier girl. I’ll try to keep at it.
