The moment I saw this pretty sweater from Maurices my heart melted. Still on the hanger, I imagined the endless outfits this sweater could bring. With that said, this cut-out love was going in my closet. So for the first time, I paired it with this red skort from Forever 21. I’ve haven’t worn these bottoms as often as I’d like, so when browsing for what would look great with the sweater, I instantly knew these two would compliment each other perfectly. And they do! I’m always thrilled when I see the shades of pink and red mixed together. I quiet enjoy how these colors feed off of each other in such a way that love is transmitted in my soul. Oh to love…
Also on the blog are these heels again. They are new and they are on repeat.
In less than three days, Micah and I will be traveling to Yucatan, Mexico for a wonderful mission trip. I’ll have limited internet access, but I’ll be posting as often as I can. Until then, I’ll be sharing what I’m packing, and how I’m preparing to serve the Lord. As always.
I’m ending the work week with this beautiful lace dress. This is one of my favorites because it’s the right length in all the right places. I got it from JCPenney. I know it’s not quiet spring time yet, but the coral color of this dress makes me feel cozy and warm. The weather has been cooperating enough to allow me to feel good in this outfit.
I paired this dress with neutral booties. Have I mentioned just how much I’m digging neutral items as of late? It’s a thing and it’s my life currently. I got the boots last year from ShoeDazzle.
The ring is an old find from Forever 21. This weekend I want to enjoy the weather and spending some quality time with Micah, we haven’t been able too in awhile.
Have a great one. See you back on Monday. As always.
Sorry that I’m posting late. Today, I had to run to the DMV to tag my new car. Afterwards, I went to the store to run errands. Then I had to go back to the school and pick up papers I forgot in the copier. Later I had to help my parents with a couple of items.
All the while, I ran around in this outfit. There’s nothing too special about it. For me, it’s simple and street ready. I enjoy wearing pieces like this sweater often because it gives off such a neutral vibe. I love the color black (outfit wise) so it’s natural that I use my go to boots to make this outfit stand out.
Again, it was one of those days where it’s warm, but extremely chilly hence why I have my camo jacket around my waist. I’m not growing fond of the winter weather, in fact, I wish it be gone. One thing that lifts my spirits is that the sun is setting much later, which makes for longer-feeling days. That’s a plus.
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is dressing up, of course. As a family we usually dress in red and attend Christmas Eve mass.
But this dress from Stitch Fix has become a heavy contender.
Two major things are happening, first the black (which is my favorite color outfit chose) and second the sparkle is to die for. I mean this was probably my favorite item in the box. When I saw it, I literally got the chills. It was a good moment. The downside is that I might have to opt out on the red.
My Monday, just like everyone else (I can image) is hectic. I usually run around like a crazy person and if I’m not; I’m going crazy thinking I missed something.
Today in particular was that kind of “Monday.” So, in order to help me jet through the day, I wore my favorite sneakers. I have to admit that I’m not much of a tennis shoes-kind of girl, but this pair is both comfy and colorful.
The t-shirt I’m wearing was a gift from my mom. It reads “Follow Your Heart,” in three different languages.
Our Thanksgiving Break was extend due to snow.
Yay for SNOW DAYS.
Because today was technically my Sunday Funday, I ran around (literally went to the gym), I danced around a lot, I read, I was a bum, but I also ran some much needed errands.
My outfit was both warm and comfortable. I’m really liking how my hair looks in the snow.
Tomorrow means work and back to the hectic schedule that is my wonderful life.
It’s definitely winter “y” here. But I’m also stuck in between dressing warm in the morning and taking a layer off in the afternoon. It’s quite complicated. One thing I do know for certain is that it is officially jacket time in Kansas.
The first jacket I took out of hibernation was my black leather jacket, which has a bonus feature, a hoodie. Hip hip, hooray! You’ll be seeing more of it on here. So don’t tire.
Okay, so… you’re not going to believe this, but I searched nearly every corner of the world looking a jump suit similar to this one. I kid you not, this piece was high on my shopper list. I was thrilled when I found it at Forever 21 during my birthday weekend. Now I’ve only worn it twice due to the change in weather, but the wait was definitely worth it.
Oh and that coat, it’s pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. You’ll be seeing it here a lot more.
Outfit: jumper from Forever 21, coat from Miss Me, boats from ShoeDazzle.
Saturday marked the coldest night of the month, which also meant that the true effects of winter are evident. However, the days, are fairly warm and welcoming. I”m afraid it’s going to be the last of it.
I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
Outfit: boots from Shoedazzle, jeans from Forever 21, top from Maurice’s, sweater from the Buckle.
