Yesterday it literally rained cats and dogs. We’ve been pretty blessed this year with the amount of rain Kansas has received. So there’s nothing to complain about.
My day was spent shopping at Target and TJMAXX. I’m excited to show you all some of the things I’ve picked up. I’m also going to try to be more creative with IG and possibly post a haul on my findings.
In the meantime I’m excited to blog about this top I picked up from Loft. I’ve been shopping there lately because I’m absolutely in love with their petite section. It’s amazing and figure forming. I mainly shop here for my teacher wardrobe, but I enjoy a top that is perfect for a Friday afternoon stroll.
Micah and I are heading to his buddy’s wedding up state. It’s gonna be a great weekend road trip con mi vida. Wishing you the best. See you Monday. As always.
Story of my life… busy from day to night– with not enough day. I’ve missed posting. Don’t worry, I’m not gone. I just had a leave of a very weeks. But, I hope I can post more often. I have tons of things I want to show you guys.
Starting with these new sandals I picked up at Target this weekend. I am so obsessed that I’ve worn them since Sunday. They are my regulars now. Also from Target is the the yellow top. So light and fresh. Especially good now, since we’ve hit the triple digits.
Oh it must be summer in Kansas.
Outfit: top and sandals from Target, ring from Forever 21, purse from Justfab.com, and jeans from Pacsun.
The cool weather has made it possible for me to wear this maxi dress. I’ve been meaning to wear it for awhile now. But, I always thought it would be uncomfortable in 100 plus degrees. Now about the dress, what I love about it: the colors and the bottom pattern. Dresses like this make for a variety of looks. I sure hope the weather stays cool.
What I wore: dress from Target, ring and cardigan from Forever21, sandals were a gift, and belt from the Buckle.
If you can’t tell by the look on face; it was super windy. I almost think the wind gusted 90 mph. I normally don’t mind wearing skirts or dresses, but today it wasn’t going to be, well… acceptable. So I wore jeans and this shirt. I love it because of the bow in the middle and the buttons that are jeweled. I really hope tomorrow isn’t as windy as today, but in Kansas (especially in the southwest) you can’t leave it up to chance.
(bow shirt and sandals from the Buckle, and jewelry from Forever21)
Lately I’ve purchased skirts (long ones) to change up my look. I fell in love with this one because it’s very comfy. I particularly love the color, because it adds splash to a lot of my darker clothes (which I have a bunch of). I seems a lot cooler out, lately, but somehow it’s so refreshing that I don’t pay mind to the breeze. I think pieces like this allow everyone living in the weird Kansas weather to be comfortable, without having to wear a coat or sweater.
